Programs & impact

Real programs. Real healing. Real change.

We fund, support, and deliver art therapy programs across every creative discipline — reaching children, adults, and communities who need them most.

What we do

Three ways we bring art therapy to the world

01
01

Fund community programs

We grant funding to art therapy programs in schools, shelters, hospitals, and community centers — removing financial barriers so practitioners can focus on healing.

02
02

Train therapists

Our training fund provides scholarships and professional development grants to art therapists across all disciplines, ensuring every community has qualified practitioners.

03
03

Deliver at-home sessions

We run live online sessions for children and adults — bringing credentialed art therapists directly into homes across painting, writing, music, movement, and more.

Painting & Drawing

Visual Art Therapy

3,200 participants served

Painting, drawing, and mixed media as tools for processing trauma, releasing anger, and rebuilding a sense of self. Delivered in group and individual formats across community centers, schools, and online.

Visual art therapy is one of the most widely researched modalities for trauma recovery. Our funded programs use structured and open-ended art-making to help participants externalize internal experiences — giving form to feelings that words alone cannot reach.

Sound & Language

Music & Writing Therapy

1,800 young people reached

Songwriting, journaling, poetry, and guided listening — creative language that reaches the emotions words alone cannot. Especially powerful for depression, anxiety, and identity work.

Music and writing therapies offer unique pathways to emotional processing. Rhythm and melody can regulate the nervous system; narrative and poetry help people reclaim their story. Our programs serve teens and adults navigating depression, anxiety, and major life transitions.

Dance & Somatic

Movement & Body-Based Therapy

900 participants served

The body holds what the mind cannot always access. Our movement therapy programs use dance, breath, and somatic awareness to release trauma stored in the body — for all ages and abilities.

Trauma lives in the body. Dance/movement therapy and somatic approaches help participants reconnect with physical sensation, release held tension, and restore a sense of safety and agency. Our programs are adapted for all mobility levels and ages.

Stories of healing

What healing looks like

"I carried years of trauma I couldn't put into words. Painting gave me a way to finally let it out. Art therapy didn't just help me cope — it helped me heal."

"Writing through my grief felt impossible at first. But the therapist made it safe. By the end of the program I had written something I was proud of — and I felt lighter."
